it was a rather... interesting day for me. first time that i got over 10 hours of sleep on a weekday, so that's always a plus =) played basketball at the rec center with oren maritza shawnee angie christine howard etc etc... first time in MONTHS that i played, man i missed it =( sucked badly (some of the airballs weren't even funny lol). gonna start playing more often now. and the place is so much better than gregory, alot less crowded. time to hone my basketball skills... cept finals are coming up. booooo!

and the night was.. interesting as well. wandering around the campus and doing stuff. you can actually see stars here. stopped by the union and saw a palestinian solidatory committee event, where they sang songs and danced and stuff... except soem of it is in english! i'm not talkign about that specific race or ethnicity, but it applies to all (like the bellaire *chinese* club where 90% of the ppl didnt' speak any chinese) they want to be part some thing that they really aren't at heart... i wouldn't say i "dispise" them, but at least when celebrating your cultural values and traditions, do it right, or at least give effort to TRY to make it right, use your own traditional music instruments (NOT guitars) and sing in your own language, not english; the rest of us all can do that too. geez... i shouldn't be hating on people... okay i'll stop. =)

so yeah... that's my daily rant... haven't been ranting as much so i'm making up for it tonite.
