the 2nd game was even better than the first.

during the highly-contests 48 minutes, game 2 between the rockets and the mavs playfully teased my fragile emotions. every bad rockets possession seemed to have a firmer choke on my beating heart than the previous one.

but as the time expired, my voice was half hoarse and my neighbors probably think that i'm half crazy. but none of that mattered as my rockets take a two-nothing lead over the mavs.

why mavs lost:
-turnovers
-poor pick-n-roll defense
-letting yao getting good position
-hesitant forth quarter

and the rookie coach avery johnson said after the game, on tracy mcgrady's game winner, and i quote, "In those situations we would like to trap him, but we just forgot to do it."

let's see: 2 time scoring champion, 34/5/6 effort in game 1, 31 points on 8-18 shooting in the game, and YOU FORGOT?

if van gundy would've said something similar, i would cry, and then beat him with a noobstick.

people focus on the battle of the superstars between tracy and dirk, but the games are clearly won because of the match between the two coaches.

and yeah, never call out a player from the opposing team.

33 points, 13/14 for 93% FG%, 7/7 FT%, 8 board, and 2 blocks. it doesn't get any more "in your face erick dampier" than this.

i love this game.
